Were-bunnies are completely possible, you know....They have were-cats in Japan....pretty fearsome little buggers. Just imagine what a were-bunny could do with those teeth and the harrowing squeal? I bet they could shatter glass!

Of course were-bunnies are possible but then I guess the question would have to be are were-humans possible and if so what animal changes into a were-human?

Personally, the creatures under the bed never bothered me neither did the ghosts in the closet, it was the monsters in the attic.

Especially the eight legged one that lived in Grandma Burson's attack. He looked like the one in monster's inc! An animal that changes into a were-human....Female it would have to be a cat....there was a movie about that a long time ago.....

yes but was that a human that changed back and forth or a cat born as a cat that then could change. a were-human would need to be an animal, reptile or an insect in tis normal state. i swear based on some of the people i have known over the years that it is snakes that become were-humans.

nightowl that i am i live among the creatures of the night normally and the monsters under the bed were never a match for the one i could create in my stories. those in the attic or in the closet were always afraid to come out.

your review of Off the Bookshelf

I found you searching reviews on Off the Bookshelf. I'm surprised at your positive review. I set up an account with them, ordered copyright, had trouble uploading my manuscript. I've contacted three times and am still waiting for communication from them (Scott). I would not recommend them. My friend published with them and wouldn't again. Joan

Dear Joan,
as with any review, it is based on the experience of the user. My experience with them was very positive. Their response time was very good. Any issues that I ran into were addressed. I had published through another company prior, one who 'claimed' all these things would happen; that my books would be available online through major retailers...etc. and they never were. Worse yet, I had to pay a hefty sum to purchase the rights to my books back. If I use a company and the customer services meets my expectations or exceeds it, then yes I would give them a very favorable review. I do not know what happened in your case and cannot speak for Off the Bookshelf. There are other options available out there if you want to go that route. It is very time consuming with some of them, I will warn you, because they expect you to do all of your own formatting for ebooks...etc...which is not an easy task. Some of them do not offer a very good author/publisher profit. And one thing that I would warn you about is to be very, very careful about the fine print. Some of those so called 'self publishers' out there can claim the rights to your book and how long you must retain it as published with them.I do know that you can go directly to the library of congress website and upload. I have done it but it does take a while and is well worth paying someone else the extra 5 or 10 to do it for you. I also know that it takes them (from my experience of doing it on my own) nearly eight weeks to get you registered, and your certificate of registration from them via the mail can take nearly 3 months to receive. I am sorry your experience with them was not all that you wanted it to be and wish you luck in your future choice of a publishing venue.
